The region is often associated with the classic Hollywood glamour that the city is known for, but it is also home to legendary concert venues such as the Whiskey a Go Go, where the careers of The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and numerous others were launched.

Views of Downtown LA as well as the San Fernando Valley make Mulholland Drive one of the city’s most visited streets. In many ways, Mulholland Drive hasn’t changed much from the heyday of the Summer of Love, and that makes it a great place to stop for a cup of coffee and some serious nostalgia.
The Instagram area – Melrose Avenue
Even before Melrose Place became a household name in the ’90s, Melrose Avenue was one of L.A.’s most well-known thoroughfares. Although it has the appearance of a dive, many famous people have eaten an 11-inch chili dog there late at night. Regular customer Kiefer Sutherland even had several of the chili dogs flown all the way to him while filming in Europe. This area is great if you have the time to wait. The Walk of Fame spans 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard and honors the lives of approximately 2,700 notable people with sidewalk stars. The TCL Chinese Theater, one of the best theaters in the world and the go-to spot for red-carpet events, is also nearby. Can you imagine living near all that?
After admiring the “stars,” head to the famous Hollywood Museum to peruse more than ten thousand movie mementos and production items from films both old and new. The exhibits at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! are among the weirdest and most startling in the world. The Hollywood Wax Museum is the perfect place to take a photo with your favorite celebrities.
